Court hearings
We have experience at all levels of court throughout England and Wales, from one-off hearings at county court level to complex appeals to the Court of Appeal.
Going to court can be an exceptionally stressful experience. With our experience of attending 1,000’s of court hearings, we can provide you with friendly, expert support and help, no matter what the size of your legal issue.
We can provide ad hoc highly specialised guidance if you are preparing to conduct your own court hearing. We can draft court documents, witness statements, instructions to experts, applications notices and appeals for you to issue at court or serve on other parties. We can tell you exactly what to expect and what to do at court, and can provide practical and realistic advice as to your prospects of winning a case in court. We can enter into negotiations and mediation where necessary for resolving cases advantageously to you, without going to court.
Urgent cases, Injunctions and Judicial Review
We can often advise, prepare for and represent you in emergency cases, sometimes at very short notice, in Injunction or possession claims, preventing your legal rights being infringed, or where an Injunction or possession claim is brought against you at short notice or where time is of the essence.
In appropriate cases we can challenge unfavourable decisions made against you by a public body by way of Judicial Review, which is often an extremely effective way of getting a satisfactory resolution to legal problems involving public authorities.
Please note we do not undertake family or children cases, and, whilst we do not provide a full ‘conduct of litigation’ service (i.e., as if we were a solicitors’ firm) we can provide comprehensive, honest and accurate guidance in all manner of civil cases.
